Here comes Autumn… with a wonderful family 90th birthday party for my mother-in-law, Ann. I don’t normally share personal information on here, but it’s quite an achievement to be partying, winning scrabble and going for windswept walks at her age. Here we all are, with touches of yellow because that’s her favourite colour…
I’ve got stories coming out shortly with the Cincinatti Review, the Bayou Review, and OkayDonkey Magazine. Thank you to the editors – I’ll put up links when they become available.
Teaching dates in October include Mat and Page, a yoga and journal writing day on 20th October in Tunbridge Wells. Contact me for more information. I will also be teaching a Writing and Wellbeing course at the University of Kent. You can get more details via their webpage here.
And because National Poetry Day was last week, here’s a completely silly video of me reading Edwin Morgan’s wonderful Loch Ness Monster Song. The words are here if you want to sing along yourself, and do enjoy it – because I did!
